Varsity Camp – Portland, OR / Bend, OR
YOU MUST BE ENROLLED and have PARTICIPATED FULLY IN THE 2024 SUMMER CONDITIONING PROGRAM (including 3 to 4 days a week of Pre Season training for returners during the CIF Dead Period) TO RECEIVE AN INVITE FROM THE COACHES. YOUR TRAINING LOG MUST BE UP TO DATE EACH DAY.
Invitations are determined based on the above criteria and the results of the 2-Mile Time Trial on July 25. Make-up TTs will be scheduled (a 15-second penalty will be assessed) a week before. 12 boys and 12 girls along with 1 top freshman who did not make the top 12 will be invited based on the following:
- Time Trial performance. Being top 12 at the TT alone will not guarantee an invite
- Improvements over the previous year
- Summer Participation. May not have missed more than 7 practice days
- The training log must be up to date on XC Stats
- The number of athletes is pre-arranged due to airline tickets to Portland.
- All invited runners must turn in a Permission Form along with payment ASAP but no later than 3 days before departure
