REMINDERS for the SUMMER

The first three weeks of summer vacation -  This is the "CIF Dead Period" - coaches are to not permitted to be coaching.

 Team captains are to organize practices, keep the weekly mileage totals (to be reported to the website)

July 16 - August 17 -  The summer training program! (5 weeks)

 On the first day, we will meet at 7:00 am in front of the ETHS gym

 What do you need to bring at this time?

1.  Current Physical Exam
2.  Medical Release
3.  $85 fee

 All practices will be held at 7 am unless otherwise notified.  Look here (the ETHS CC webpage) for the location for each week's practices!

Monday, August 20 -
 Fall season will begin!

ONCE THE SEASON BEGINS, YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BE AT PRACTICE DAILY.  ABSENCE MIGHT JEOPARDIZE YOUR CHANCES OF BEING ON THE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM.

August 25 - August 30 -  Runner's Workshop - Big Bear Camp (optional)

 More information will be posted online when it is made available

 Those who are not going to the camp will train at El Toro (it is still in season)


From the coaches - HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!  TRAIN CONSISTENTLY AND HAVE FUN!  A SUCCESSFUL SEASON BEGINS WITH A GRADUAL BUILD-UP OF SOLID TRAINING DURING THE SUMMER.
