PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VENUE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO WOODBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL, BECAUSE FIRE FIGHTERS ARE STILL USING IRVINE REGIONAL PARK FOR A STAGING AREA.

This meet will feature all 6 Sea View League schools running at one time.

Note that Meadowbrook street (off of Lake Street, on the Google map) is now called Greg Cops Place.

Public Parking: Very few parking places are available adjacent to Woodbridge on a Friday before 3:15. Please allow plenty of time to arrive for their races. If you park illegally, you will be cited or towed away. The following areas close to Woodbridge have parking places available before 3:15:

Lakeview Senior Citizen Center – East side of Lake Street and Greg Cops Place

Woodbridge Tennis Courts – West side of Greg Cops Place and Lake Street

Mervyn’s Parking lot – South-East Corner of Culver and Barranca

Lakeside Center – North East corner of lake Street and Barranca Parkway

Awards: At 5:30 pm. There will be 14 medals for each varsity race, as well as 14 All-SVL patches for the top 14 in the varsity races, first and second team. 10 medals for all other races. Awards will be distributed after the last race. Please be patient and respectful during the awards presentations.

C.I.F. Qualifiers: Top 3 teams at the varsity level and any individuals who finish in the top SIX and are not on a qualifying team.

Parents:

Volunteers Needed: We need 3 helpers to monitor the course (all schools need 3). We also are responsible as back up timers at the finish like last year. We will need a few adults at the finish line the entire meet. Keep in mind we will have to deal with students in and out of classes and that is why the time schedule is the way it is.

In order to make it fair for everyone to see their children run, parents of Freshman/Sophmore runners are needed for the earlier times and parents of JV and Varsity runners are needed for the later times. If you want to do the entire event, you can do that too. As always we are very thankful to all that help out. – Coach Hagin and Coach Johnson

Athletes must report to the starting area at least 10 minutes before the start of their race, as the meet will be run on time. Note the race schedule. It will be followed. There will be six blocks at the starting line. Please line up in your assigned block.
